Stoneware, electric-fired
Cone 6 white stoneware, slip-brushed exterior texture.
This collection was created for my own wedding — an act of making as a way to build a place. Each pot is an individual form but together they establish a vocabulary: soft white surfaces, brushed slip texture, quiet silhouettes, repetition with difference. These vessels held flowers, branches, and small arrangements throughout the reception, functioning as both object and architecture — structuring the table as landscape.
This body of work sits between utility and memory. The pieces are meant to live beyond the event — the centerpieces becoming permanent containers of an ephemeral moment. Through clay, the celebration becomes a material archive.
