Crackle Moon Jar

A squat, moon-jar-form vessel with a small, rounded opening, covered edge to edge in a fine, crackled texture reminiscent of dry, cracked earth. Hand-built in stoneware, left in a pale, bone-toned surface, and electric-fired. The dense all-over texture gives the piece a weathered, ancient quality despite its rounded, contemporary form.
