Stoneware, electric-fired
A tall vase with deep vertical grooves running the length of its form, like folds of fabric caught mid-motion. Wheel thrown in stoneware, finished with a dark glaze and flecks of white that catch the light within the ridges, reduction gas fired. The fluted surface plays with shadow, giving the piece a quiet, rippling movement.
