Fragile Strength No.3

A wide, bowl-form vessel with a jagged, torn rim that breaks the silhouette like fractured rock. Hand-built in stoneware, the rough rust-toned exterior contrasts with a dark, glossy glaze pooling inside, and the piece is electric-fired. Raised on small, uneven feet, it continues the Fragile Strength series' exploration of tension between raw material and refined surface.
